In June 2024, our team successfully completed a project for Superabrasive Ltd — a leading manufacturer of diamond tools and machines for concrete grinding and polishing. The final deliverable was a three-minute animated clip demonstrating the belt replacement procedure for the Lavina S7 concrete polishing machine.
The primary goal of the project was to create a clear and visual guide to assist Lavina S7 owners in maintaining their machines. Using 3D animation, we accurately and accessibly conveyed the complex process of belt replacement, combining technical precision with intuitive visualization.
The project utilized 3D animation to showcase the machine’s kinematics, including the planetary gear system, cogwheels, and belt drive mechanism. One of the main challenges was preparing the 3D model for animation, ensuring all components moved correctly. Additionally, materials and textures were developed to match the actual appearance of the Lavina S7, achieving maximum realism.
The project was completed within two weeks, demonstrating our ability to deliver complex tasks quickly and with high quality. Despite the technical challenges, the final product provided a practical solution to be used as an instructional resource for their customers.
